Blocking Carrier Services

Learn how to block specific carrier services in WebShip to hide unwanted shipping options from your rate results.

Part 1

Overview

1

What Are Blocked Carrier Services?

WebShip allows you to hide specific carrier services from your rate results. By blocking a carrier service, it will no longer appear when you shop for rates, keeping your rate results clean and focused on the options you actually use.

2

When to Use Blocked Carrier Services

The Blocked Carrier Services setting lets you toggle individual carrier services on or off. When a service is blocked, it is excluded from your rate shopping results automatically. This is useful when:

The list of services shown in the Manage panel and the filtering of rate results are both controlled at the company account level. Only services that have not been blocked at the company level will appear in the panel.
