Overview of the shipping interface
The Ship Page is the main interface for creating shipments in WebShip. Start by setting your origin shipping address.
You can select an address from your Address Book using the dropdown, or click Custom Address to enter a new one manually.

Configure the destination address in the same way — either select from the Address Book or enter a custom address.
Use the Address Search field to quickly look up saved addresses. The system will auto-populate matching fields as you type.
You can also toggle the Residential Address option if the recipient is at a residential location.
Click the Edit button next to any address to update the address details or contact information.
Use the Swap button to quickly exchange the From and To addresses.
Choose your package type from the dropdown menu. Available options include:

For custom packaging, you can enter dimensions manually or select a preset from the Choose Dimensions dropdown.
You can create predefined dimensions by clicking the Create Predefined Dimensions button, which saves commonly used package sizes for quick access.
Select additional shipping options from the Choose Option dropdown, including insurance, dry ice, references, and signature requirements.
Once your addresses and package details are configured, click the Get Rates button. Available shipping rates will populate below, showing carrier options with pricing.
The system highlights the Fastest and Best Priced options to help you choose quickly.

If you need to start over, click the Reset Shipment button to clear all shipment parameters and begin fresh.
When shipping internationally, additional fields will appear for customs information. Enter the required package values and customs details to complete your international shipment.

You can configure email notifications for your shipments to keep the sender, receiver, or a custom recipient informed about shipment status updates.
Toggle the Activate Email Notifications switch and configure the notification types from the dropdown options.

Choose your preferred label format from the Choose Label Type dropdown, then click Confirm and Print to generate your shipping label.
You can also toggle Send by Email to email the label as a PDF, or toggle This Shipment Requires Pickup to schedule a carrier pickup after confirmation.
